TUN ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI
The Honourable Datuk Seri Utama Tun Abdullah bin Haji Ahmad Badawi , also known as Pak Lah is a former Fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia , inherited the leadership of Dr . Mahathir bin Mohamad . He is also a former president of UMNO - 5 , the biggest political party in Malaysia .
Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was born on 26 November 1939 in Kampung Perlis , Bayan Lepas , Penang . He is the eldest of four siblings and the children of the spouse Haji Ahmad Haji Abdullah Fahim (better known as Ahmad Badawi ) and Datuk Khailan Hassan . Her siblings are Ambrahim and Mohamad .Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi is married to Datin Seri Endon Mahmood on 4 September 1965 when he served in the Department of Civil Service . Datin Seri Endon was the eldest of twins born on December 24, 1940 .Revenue sharing life 's partner , they were blessed with two children, Kamaluddin and Nori .Datin Seri Endon passed away on October 20, 2005 from breast cancer .
Next , Tun Abdullah married Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah on June 9, 2007 after almost two years of living alone .Tun Abdullah better known as Mr . Nice Guy is starting school at the National School crests Bertam , Kepala Batas and then proceeded to the Special Malay School which is a school established by the British Government for outstanding Malay students at the primary level .Shortly after graduating from the University of Malaya , Tun Abdullah began serving as officers and Diplomatic Service (PTD ) and has been the Assistant Secretary in the Department of Civil Service began in 1964 .Tun Abdullah got involved in politics around the year 1966. His own family has a very strong political influence in the northern region. Even the followers of politics in Penang is very familiar with the political authority of this family .
His grandfather Haji Abdullah Fahim, an early pioneer of UMNO has an important role in seeking independence from the British government . Additionally, Haji Abdullah Fahim was the man who has set the date of independence as a result of discussions in his own home .
His father , Haji Ahmad Haji Abdullah Fahim was a religious teacher , official state religion and also a strong supporter of UMNO . This fifth prime minister directly involved in politics after his father died on May 8, 1977 where this decision changed the course of his career. At that time he was responsible for his father to continue the struggle and resigned in public service
